Collection: New York Knicks

New York Knicks Jerseys

The Knicks are the reigning NBA champions and open their home preseason slate at Madison Square Garden, less than a year after ending a wait of more than fifty years. What does not change is the franchise underneath: New York was one of the founding clubs of the Basketball Association of America in 1946 and has played at the Garden ever since. The club won its first championship in 1970 behind Willis Reed and Walt Frazier, added a second in 1973, and the jerseys below carry all of it - Patrick Ewing in the middle, and the current roster out front.

Stitched, Not Printed

Every jersey here is built the way a basketball uniform is supposed to be built: layered tackle twill for the numerals and the nameplate, sewn down with satin stitching rather than heat-pressed onto the surface. That is why the numbers keep their shape and their raised edge through a full season.

Care Instructions

Turn the jersey inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach, and do not tumble dry on high heat, because heat breaks down both the twill adhesive and the mesh. Hang or lay flat to dry, then press the stitched areas lightly on the reverse side only. Keep the lettering away from a hot iron face so the satin stitching keeps its sheen.
